Holden Spaht

Principal, Spaht Family Foundation

Holden Spaht is co-founder of the Spaht Family Foundation, where his dedication to advancing positive mental health for youth fuels the organization’s support for policy advocacy, innovative intervention, and sports initiatives.

The son of educators, Holden was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended Dartmouth University, and went on to study International Politics at the University of Cologne on a Fulbright Scholarship. He later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Holden began his career as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York and subsequently held roles at Thomas H. Lee Partners and Morgan Stanley. Holden is currently Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo based in San Francisco.

Claire Spaht

Principal, Spaht Family Foundation

Claire Spaht is co-founder of the Spaht Family Foundation, where her background in the arts and longstanding commitment to climate conservation help shape the organization’s focus. Her work is grounded in her board service with organizations such as the Northern Sierra Partnership, Headlands Center for the Arts, The Meadows Center for the Arts, SFFILM, and the Smithsonian National Board.

Claire earned a BFA dual degree in studio art and art history from SMU and went on to receive her MFA at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She pursued her art career in New York, working for Pamela Auchincloss Arts Management and exhibiting her paintings at Tricia Collins Gallery in Soho.
